Terms and Conditions
By accessing or using the PuroPDF website ("Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of puropdf.com and all tools, applications, and features offered by PuroPDF. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.
2. Permitted Use of Service
The Service is provided free of charge on an "as is" basis for your personal, academic, professional, and commercial use. You are permitted to use PuroPDF to process, merge, split, rotate, convert, sign, and protect documents that you own or have lawful authorization to manipulate.
You agree to use the Service responsibly and strictly in accordance with applicable local, state, national, and international laws. You may not use the Service to process or distribute infringing, defamatory, illegal, or malicious materials.
3. Client-Side Processing & Document Ownership
PuroPDF is designed with a 100% in-browser, client-side processing model. Because your documents are never uploaded to, transmitted across, or saved on our servers:
- You retain 100% full ownership, title, and intellectual property rights in all documents, files, signatures, text, and images you select and process.
- PuroPDF does not claim any license, custody, or access rights to any content within your documents.
- You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of output files and maintaining secure backups of your original documents.
4. Intellectual Property Rights & Strict Prohibitions
Unless otherwise stated, PuroPDF and/or its creators own all intellectual property rights for all material on PuroPDF, including but not limited to the brand identity, logo, typography, UI layout, design tokens, illustrations, graphics, and the underlying source code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React components). All intellectual property rights are strictly reserved.
You are expressly and emphatically prohibited from all of the following:
- Replicating, duplicating, scraping, or copying the website's functionality, design, user interface, or source code to create a derivative, competing, or identical document service;
- Selling, sublicensing, packaging, and/or otherwise commercializing any website material, assets, or client-side algorithms;
- Framing or embedding our tools into third-party websites without explicit prior written consent;
- Using automated bots, web scrapers, or excessive programmatic request patterns intended to disrupt or overburden the site's infrastructure;
- Using this website in any manner that causes, or may cause, harm to the website, its reputation, or any person or business entity.
The act of viewing the client-side code of this website in a browser developer console does not grant you any license or right to copy, redistribute, or build derivative products. Unauthorized infringement may result in legal action to the maximum extent permitted by law.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely bug-free, or compatible with all operating systems or corrupted PDF structures.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PuroPDF, its creators, operators, contributors, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the Service-even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date. By continuing to access or use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
